I am a counseling psychologist and certified sex therapist interested in factors that promote social health.

Teaching Interests & Areas

I thoroughly enjoy providing clinical supervision to graduate students pursuing degrees in clinical-counseling psychology. Given my background in sex therapy I am also passionate about educating others on the diversity of human sexuality and essential topics that should be assessed and addressed in relationship and sex therapy. Other courses of interest include career development/vocational psychology, personality psychology, and research methods.

Research Interests & Areas

I have published and presented research in the following areas:
1. Vocational development and health outcomes of sexual minority (e.g., LGBQ) employees
2. Protective factors that mitigate the relationships between minority stress and adverse health outcomes for sexual and gender minority (SGM) people
3. Supports and barriers to satisfying romantic and sexual relationships
4. Psychological predispositions and correlates of voting patterns
